The Grand Massif ski area is home to 148 ski slopes: 20 green slopes for beginners, 64 blue slopes and 50 red slopes and 14 black slopes for experienced skiers. Thanks to its exceptional geographic position near Mont blanc and its high altitude betw. 1000 and 2600 m, the skiing area has a excellent snowsure conditions throughout the winter season. Access is easy, only 15 minutes from the motorway and 1 hour from Geneva International airport.

Les Carroz is a paradise for snowshoeing and cross-country ski. It is the best way to access the most secluded and untouched corners of the Grand Massif mountains. It gives visitors a fascinating insight into the magical winter landscape and is a great way to get out and about in the fresh alpine air.

We will provide information so you can go by yourself or take a (small) group tour with a guide during a day or evening followed by a warming wood fire fondue in a refuge (forest cabin) or a teepee.

Lots of water fun in rivers or mountain freshwater lakes.

In the summer Les Carroz is a good starting point to access several mountain ranges in the mont blanc area to hike in the fresh alpine air.

In the summer, some of the ski runs become biking trails. The Carroz 1200 gondola is open to transfer pedestrians, bikers and bikes up the mountain to 1800m.

Lots of limestone rockes with cracks and crevasses to explore. Has to be organised with a guide.
